[267] Had an adopted daughter named Grace, born 25 March 1883 in Allegan County.
[268] She married George Moses April 15, 1903.
[269] OBITUARY - Jacob Rychel, 84, A native of the Netherlands and formerly a widely
known truck gardner, died at 10 Wednesday evening at the Holland Home for the
Aged. He lived for many years just outside the city on West Michigan Avenue
Road. He was a resident of this community virtually all the time since he came
to the U.S. in 1862. He leaves an adopted daughter, Mrs. George Moses of
Constantine, eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services
will be held at 2 Saturday afternoon at the Truesdale Chapel with the Rev.
Abraham DeYoung officiating. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery.
