Welte - Mrs. Pauline S. "Pearl" Welte, Pueblo resident past 80 years, late of 1111 Bonforte, passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital June 29, 1971. Mrs. Welte was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Welte who passed away in 1943. Mrs. Welte attended St. Pius X Church, and was a member of St. Mary Hospital Guild, St. Cecelia Circle and Sacred Heart Orphanage Guild, survived by her son, Ralph J. Welte, 3410 Northridge where family may be contacted, and by one brother, William E. Nason, Lakewood, Colo., and 4 grandchildren. Services St. Pius X Church, with recitation of the Rosary 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Mass of the Resurrection 11 a.m. Friday. Interment, Roselawn.

Harold C. Van Der Berg Sr.

Passed away Saturday afternoon. Mr. Van Der Berg was a retired insurance salesman. He was born Aug 30, 1899 in Kalamazoo. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 50. He is survived by three sons, Lawrence H. Van Der Berg of Long Island, N.Y., William A. Van Der Berg and Harold c. Van Der Berg, Jr. of Kalamazoo and seven grandchildren. Friends may call at the Truesdale Chapel after 5 Sunday afternoon. Private graveside services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Riverside Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted.

Mrs. Grace Van Derberg, 43, died at her home, 720 Village street, Wednesday night. She was born in Hastings, Oct 28, 1898, and was married to Harold C. Van Derberg, who survives her, on Oct 30, 1918 in Kalamazoo. She leaves besides her husband, four sons, Lawrence, William, Harold Jr., and John, all of Kalamazoo, her mother, Mrs. May Schauffhauser, Delton, five sisters and three brothers.
