Elizabeth Sandy Nason

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Sandy Nason, 70, 36 North Seventh West Street, who died Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at her home of natural causes, will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at 36 East
Seventh South street. Rev. A.L. Woods will officiate. Friends may call at place of funeral until time of services. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial park. Mrs. Nason born March 12, 1874 In
Westfield Ill. Daughter of Marion and Katherine Perkins Sandy. She resided in Garfield from 1907 to 1920. Survivors include her husband, John Nason; four sons Irvin, Frank, George and Roy Nason, Salt Lake City; five daughters, Mrs. Katherine Nuesmeyer of Magna, Mrs. Evelyn Nuesmeyer of Garfield, Mrs. Mabel Jones, Mrs. Belle Sommers and Mrs. Dorothy Allen, Salt Lake City; 32 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. and a sister, Mrs. C.M. Tyndall, Los Angeles, Cal.

Now for good old Jeremiah Perkins. I finally found out where he is buried and when he died and also his birthdate from his gravestone. He was born 2-5-1808 in NJ and he died 3-20-1886 and is buried in Silver
Cliff Cemetery, Custer Co., CO beside his 2nd wife Tabitha Perkins who died 7-15-1915 probably in Teller Co., CO. For those who don't know, Jeremiah Perkins was the grandfather of Elizabeth Sandy Nason on her Mothers side.

And did I tell you all that I found out the information about the third wife of Phillip D. Sandy. He married for the third time in Union Co., IL to (Mrs.) Eliza Huston Durham on 11-2-1890. I find this interesting
because there are Hustons in my husbands family and also because Phillips first wife, Mary Goban, had a mother who was Unity Durham. [jm]
