You're right about Baltimore. Wish I could tell you I found them in the
1850 census, but NOT. They were in Michigan, but were apparently
"missed." I'll recheck my stuff to be sure, however. [dd]
Further to my message 2 in Digest No. 12 (5/22/2000), I have finally
tracked down Jan Willem Nijsing's date of birth: June 23, 1810. Knew I
must have it someplace, but it took awhile His baptism followed then on
July 1, 1810 [dd]
