Obituary for John W. Nason in Kalamazoo Daily Telegraph, 10 June 1896, pg 2, col 2, Wednesday -
John W. Nason died this morning at 8 o'clock of heart disease, aged 60 years.
He leaves a wife and four children, Mrs. Harry W. Bush, Frank A., Louis L. and Dora Nason, and several brothers and sisters. He was a member of Orcutt Post, G.A.R. and an Odd Fellow and well known
throughout southern Michigan. Funeral Friday from the residence of Harry W. Bush, 727 W. South St.

Mrs. Josephine VanderBerg Dies in Lansing at Age 64
Mrs. Josephine VanderBerg, 64, widow of Abraham VanderBerg, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Alberta Sargant, in Lansing, Tuesday. She was a member of the Second Reformed Church.
Others survivors are a son, Harold C. VanderBerg, Kalamazoo; two sisters, Mrs. John Polderman,
Kalamazoo, and Mrs. J.A. VanDis, Akron OH; two brothers, Mark Bowers, St. Louis MO, and Orrie
VanderPoole, Kalamazoo; and seven grandchildren.
