Hubert A. VandeBerg, 48 of 739 Edgemoore Avenue, former co-partner of the
VendeBerg(sic) and Sons Company, coal dealers, died at 8:20 a.m. in
Bronson hospital where he had been admitted at 3:25 a.m. as a medical
patient.
Mr. VandeBerg who had been a life long resident of Kalamazoo was born
here Jan 9, 1898 the son of the late John J. and Mary VandeBerg. He was
educated in the local schools and was an employee of the Gazette where he
learned the pressmen's trade. He was a member of the Elks
lodge.......................
Surviving are his wife, Mabel C.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Wanda Louden;
a brother, Jay H. VandeBerg; his step-mother, Mrs. Agnes VandeBerg; a
grandson, Jimmy Louden; and an aunt, Mrs. Abbey Snell, all of
Kalamazoo.... Burial at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
