Funeral For L.G. Nuesmeyer Saturday Noon
Last rites for Lester Glenn Nuesmeyer, who died Tuesday, February 13 will
be held Saturday at 12 noon in Tate Mortuary. Friends may call at the
Mortuary on Friday between the hours of 7 and 9 p.m., and prior to
funeral time on Saturday. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
Sudden Death Claims L.G. Nuesmeyer
Lester Glenn Nuesmeyer, 48 died suddenly Tuesday morning at his home, at
41 West Second North.
He was born December 9, 1913 a son of Kathryn Nason Nuesmeyer, and the
late Charles Nuesmeyer, at Arthur Plant, Utah, and was married to Helen
Cartwright, June 17, 1937, at Tooele.
He had been a mechanic at the Tooele Ordnance Depot for the past 16 years.
Surviving are his widow and two daughters, Glenice and Deanna Nuesmeyer
of Tooele; his mother and two brothers, Kenneth and Charles, Magna; four
sisters, Mrs. Merlin (Donna) Maxwell, Mrs. Orson (Merlynn) Privett, also
of Magna; Mrs. Joe (Doris) Yurfick, Beaver, Pa; Mrs. Don (Helen) Wade,
Fairfield, Montana.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced by the Tate Mortuary.
Lester Glenn Nuesmeyer, father of Glenice and DeAnn Nuesmeyer. Died
fairly young. One morning his wife woke him up so he could start
getting ready for work. He sat up in bed, said "I don't feel very good,
bring me an aspirin." She did, he took the pill, swallowed it with a sip
of water and fell over dead. The Dr's said his heart burst [edg]

Garfield - Jo Ann Nuesmeyer Driffill, 17, E. 18th St., died Saturday at
8 p.m., in her residence of nephritis. Born April 11, 1938, in Garfield.
Member of the Episcopal Church, Student at Cyprus High School. Survivors;
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nuesmeyer, Garfield; two brothers and and
one sister; Robert, Steven, and Betty, all of Garfield, three Aunts and
five Uncles.

5, 1916, Arthur, Utah to Charles and Kathryn Nason Nuesmeyer. Married
Merlin D. Maxwell Oct .18, 1939, Magna; later solemnized in the Salt Lake
LSD Temple. He died May 10, 1980. Survived by children, Merlin Dowden,
Phoenix, Ariz.; Marvin Douglas and Mrs. Ann Cyrus, Magna; 12
grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Kenneth,
Charles, Mrs. Merlynn Privett, all of Magna, Mrs. Doris Yurfick, Beaver,
Penn.; Mrs. Helen Wade, Bell, Calif. Preceded in death by children Donald
and Irene. Funeral services Thursday noon, Pleasant Green 2nd Ward, 8741
