Buddy Ross Benzon (Spider) Sunday, September 9, 2001
You Are My Sunshine Buddy R. Benzon, age 66, died September 5, 2001 in
Salt Lake City, Utah after an extended illness.
Born April 8, 1935 in Salt Lake City, UT. Son of Joseph and Birdie
Benzon. He was the 10th of 14 children. Married Marguerite (Peg-gy)
Hoover July 6, 1958 in Elko, NV. Served in the Korean War. Medically
retired from Safeway Warehouse after 30 years of service. He was an avid
49er's fan. He enjoyed fish-ing, hunting, traveling, and spending time
with his grand-children.
Survived by, his loving wife of 43 years; five children, Mike (Gary),
Neva (Flint), Randy (Judy), Dondie (Marty), Kevin (Kenda); eight
grandsons; three granddaughters; six sisters; three brothers; many nieces,
nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; three sisters,
and one brother.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the
SICU of the VAMC.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Mon, McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd,
where friends may call Sun. 6-8 p.m. and Mon. one hour prior to services.
Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.

Mrs. Elizabeth E. Gideon, 62 of 10112 Mallison Ave, South Gate, died at
her home Sunday, July 26. she had been a South Gate resident 20 years.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am today (Thursday) in the chapel of
Biby & Belyea. Interment will follow in Rose Hills cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Claude E. Gideon of the home address, one
son, Guy T. Nason, Huntington Park, and one brother, Frank S. Argood [sic
Aregood] , of Hollywood.
I have not been able to find Elizabeth on 1920 Census in Colorado. I have
not proved when she was married to Claude Elmer Gideon
