I have many pictures of Uncle Fred when he was married to Aunt Addie.
I have marriage license.

I don't remember much of Uncle Fred since Aunt Addie died right after I was born. He soon moved to Turlock and married Julie. We did go visit him once or twice though. He didn't have much to do with any of Aunt Addie's family after her death.

Rites Pending For Fred Van Winkle
Funeral services are pending at the Norton Mortuary for Fred Van Winkle, 59, who died unexpectedly yesterday morning in a Turlock hospital.
A native of Monte Vista, Colo., he moved to Burbank-Van Nuys in 1929 and to Oakdale in 1942, residing there until 1953 when he moved to the Delhi-Ballico area. He had made his home in Turlock for the past 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Van Winkle, Turlock; two sons, David and Stanley Van Winkle, both of Turlock; a brother, Glenn Van Winkle, Ballico; a sister, Mrs. Van Wetzel, Napa, Idaho, and a half-brother, Ralph Woodmancee, Los Angeles.

Van Winkle Rites Slated Tomorrow
Funeral services for Fred Van Winkle will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the First Methodist Church, with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating.
Interment will follow at Turlock Memorial Park under the direction of the Norton Mortuary.
Mr. Van Winkle died here over the weekend. The Colorado native was 59.

FRED VAN WINKLE
TURLOCK - Rites will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the
First United Methodist Church for Fred Van Winkle, 59, who
died of an apparent heart attack Sunday.
Burial will be in Turlock Memorial Park.
The family requests that any remembrances be given to
the Fred Van Winkle Memorial Fund of the First United Methodist Church.
The services are under the direction of Norton Mortuary.
