Age 59, passed away Wednesday afternoon at his home. Mr. Frielink was born October 28, 1892, in Kalamazoo, the son of John and Helen Frielink. He had been a life resident of Kalamazoo except from 1914 until 1932 when he lived in Flint, where he was captain on the police force for several years. He had been employed by the Kalamazoo Stamping and Die Co., for the past ten years. Those who survive are; his wife, Selma Pauline; 3 sons, Kenneth, Robert and Victor Russell Frielink, all of Kalamazoo; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lois Filer of Flint and Mrs. June Warner of Kalamazoo; one brother, Grant Frielink of Flint; 8 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Langeland chapel where service will be held Saturday at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Alvin J. Olson officiating. Interment in Mattawan cemetery.
