Mrs. Katherine Nason passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. E. Welte, 1224 East Platte. Mrs. Nason has been a resident of Colorado since 1890. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, John Nason, of Salt Lake City; Wm. E. Nason, of Pueblo, Colo.; Guy T. Nason of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. L. E. Welte, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. J.C. Welte of Pueblo. Funeral Services will be held from the Decker chapel Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock, the Rev. C. K. Powell officiating. Burial will be in Pueblo.

Mrs. Catherine Nason, aged 80 years, passed away at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Grace Welte, of 1224 North Platte street, Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Thursday, May 26, 1927.
Deceased was born in Holland on March 6, 1847, and came to America in 1868. She was married to Ralph Nason, at Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1870, and shortly afterward the young couple removed to Clarinda, Iowa. After residing there for a short time they decided to come west and settle in Pueblo in 1892 and made this their home for 35 years, Mr. Nason, who was a veteran of the Civil war having died in 1916. Some time later Mrs. Nason joined her daughter at Colorado Springs and lived there with her until the time of her death last Thursday.
Deceased was a devoted wife and mother and much loved and respected by all who knew her because of her lovely Christian character and sweet motherly ways to all with whom she come in contact. She was a member of the Bethel M. E. Church of this city, and today she will be buried from there at 2:30 pm, the interment being in the family plot at Mountain View Cemetery.
Deceased is survived by two daughters and three sons, namely Mrs. Grace Welte, of Colorado Springs, Mrs. Pearl Welte, of 316 West Sixteenth street, Pueblo; Mr. Guy Nason, of Colorado Springs, Mr. John Nason, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mr. William E. Nason of 1020 East Eight street this city, and to these bereaved sons and daughters the sympathy of many friends will be extended in their hour of sorrow.
A short funeral service will be held this Morning at the funeral parlor of Decker & Sons, at Colorado Springs. At the conclusion of that service the funeral cortege will come to Pueblo by motor and the concluding service will be held at the Bethel M. E. Church at 2:30, going direct from the church to Mountain view, cemetery, where the interment will be made.

Mrs. Catherine Nason, aged 80 years, died at Colorado Springs, Colo., on Thursday May 26, 1927. The funeral cortege will then come to Pueblo by motors, and at 2:30 funeral services will be held at Bethel M. E. Church, Park Hill. the interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Nason were held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, May 28, from the Bethel M. E. church, with Rev. Robert M. Peters officiating.
Mrs. H. C. Thompson, Mrs. W. H. Minnick, C. E. Howe and Austin Adair, accompanied by Miss Ada Crick, sang "The City Four Square" "Abide With Me" and "Good Night".
The flower bearers were Mrs. Orrel Hartman and Mrs. Lola Goodenough, of Colorado Springs; Mrs. Sadie McFredrie(l?), Mrs. Ruby Samuels, Mrs. F. W. Imotoden and Miss Hortense Hummell of Pueblo.
The pall bearers were: W. A. Root, G. W. Gardner, G. W. Goodenough, D. Roland, C.A. Fowler and E. L. Troupe of Colorado Springs.
At the cemetery the quartet sang "Face to Face". Interment was in the family burial plot in Mountain View cemetery.
