Condition of Car's Victim Only Fair
Mrs. Helen Wiers, 713 West Cedar street, who received head injuries early
yesterday afternoon when she was stuck by a car at the intersection of
South Burdick and Lovell streets, remained a patient at Bronson hospital
today. Her condition was generally fair this morning, according to
hospital authorities. Driver of the car which struck Mrs. Wiers was
Gladys Murphy, Route 6, who made a left hand turn into East Lovell street
from South Burdick street when she struck the woman. Mrs. Wiers received
cuts on the face, head, and on the arms and hands. Extent of the other
possible injuries was being determined today.
